Born in Seoul, Korea, pianist, composer and educator Hey Rim Jeon brings her unique brand of Korean influenced jazz-fusion to the 2012 Berklee Beantown Jazz festival. In addition to the premier talent of Grammy-award recipient Kevin Eubanks on trombone, Greg Hopkins on trumpet, John Lockwood on bass and Yoron Israel on drums, the afternoon concert will feature an exciting collaboration with “Oori”, a traditional Korean drum and percussion ensemble.
